What is WTPLC?

We The People Liberty Celebration (WTPLC) is a grass roots, non-partisan, and non-sectarian movement engaging We The People, like you, who are united in consensus around the legacy of our Founding Fathers' fight for Liberty and keeping it alive in our hearts. As a faith-based organization we are in the liberty celebration business.

02.

Why is it called We The People Liberty Celebration?

We The People refers to our identity according to our origins and heritage. Just as the Founding Fathers used these words to open The Constitution of the United States, for representing the patriots and people they fought for, and our organization uses it to recognize those for whom we exist.

Liberty Celebration is the channel through which we believe we can bring all people to a celebration that is non-confrontational while it invigorates We The People to remember daily the freedoms we have and how we continue to "...secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity..." by celebrating liberty.

03.

07.

What do you mean when you say Liberty?

Thomas Jefferson said it best: "Rightful Liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within the limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others." The Founding Fathers embodied this and declared it to be the purpose for which we recognize the need for structured government anchored in a correct flow of authority. Liberty comes from the Creator to We The People and then to City/County/State and Nation but must exist within the boundaries set forth from the levels above each.

08.

How do we celebrate Liberty?

Through the American Heritage Calendar, American Family Reunion, FREEDOM SEASON, and other events throughout the year we promote the celebration of liberty be 24/7/365 around the world. By gathering, decorating our houses, cars, neighborhoods, offices, streets, parks, and cities in red, white, and blue, these celebrations can be held in our civic, commerce, church, social, recreational associations, and through all other organizations and affiliations. Celebrations may also be shared through media, education, entertainment, and the arts.

09.

Why does WTPLC use images with the US flag and the colors red, white and blue?

The US flag is symbolic of the fight for and then celebration of Liberty. The 13 stripes represent the 13 original colonies that declared their liberty and the battled for it as true patriots. This is the same liberty that is now our liberty, We The People can see the flag and remember the red symbolizes heartiness and valor, white represents purity and innocence, and blue expresses vigilance, perseverance, and justice. The Founding Fathers wanted to keep the purity and innocence of We The People, but their oppressors needed to be handled with heartiness and valor, and, since their victory, liberty calls for vigilance, perseverance and justice.

A more recent restatement of the meaning of the colors is:

Red - represents the blood shed by those who fought for our freedom

White - the purity, because we are independent and hold to our ideals

Blue - a reminder that we must remain watchful and strong.

What is the Liberty Celebration Caravan?

Liberty Celebration Caravan is our effort to plant celebrations all over this country with a 50-state tour. The caravan will have the Liberty Bell, George Washington, and guest speakers celebrating at stadium events, whistle stops, and other special events. The Caravan will throw a Liberty Celebration in all 50 state capitals, several on-route county seats, and as many large city venue events as we can fund. WTPLC believes that what we celebrate, we will hold in our hearts. We want Liberty to be associated with Celebration like Merry is to Christmas.

What is FREEDOM SEASON?

FREEDOM SEASON by declaration, Memorial Day to July 4th each year, is a season to boldly decorate your homes, cars, neighborhoods, offices, and more with individual expression in red, white, and blue as part of Liberty Celebration. WTPLC believes celebration and decorating rounds off the edges of life as it lifts the soul through individual expression. This is a period to let go of the things that keep you in bondage in celebration and preparation before gathering all your family together for The American Family Reunion July 1-4 each year.
